Course objectives
Studens will be acquainted to the leading names in music and art who contributed to establishing the sound as an autonomous artistic expression. Audio and video examples will be included.
Learning outcomes
Students will learn to listen to sound art.
Students will learn how to recognize individual works.
Students will be able to understand the transformation of musical art in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
Students are able to classify individual works into epochs.
