Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the phenomenon of volunteering. Take into account relevant volunteer activities as part of the overall personality development beyond the professional profile.
Learning outcomes
The graduates of the course have experience with volunteering. They developed their altruistic attitudes.
  • Introduction to the system of volunteer support at MU:
  • Selection of suitable volunteer activities from the current offer.
  • Download the mobile application, which is used to coordinate volunteers at MU:
  • The student can also complete a volunteer internship through other organizations. The list of Brno volunteer subjects is here:
  • 1) Choice of institution
  • 2) Selection of volunteer activities
  • 3) Implementation of volunteer activities
  • 4) Obtaining confirmation from the representative of the relevant organization
  • 5) Submission of the confirmation to the delivery office of the subject within the set deadline.

Assessment methods
The student proves the completion of volunteer activities in the range of at least 40 hours through a completed form (see study materials of the course).
We recommend registering the subject only on the basis of an agreed volunteer practice, or only after its successful completion, which will be documented through a form.
