Course objectives
It is the aim of this seminar to make students familiar with texts of Plato in which the Idea of Beauty is dealt with. Special attemtnion will be given to the dialogue Symposium.
Syllabus
  • General introduction to Symposium. Reading and interpretation of the different parts of the dialogue. Presentation and discussion of the seminar papers.
