Course objectives
After finishing the course the students will: be introduced to development of Czech literature by means of key works with regards to library studies,
form active relation to readership by informative aim and exact basis,
realize literary scientific approach by means of selected works to works which cannot be mentioned in lectures,
will orientate themselves in development of Czech literature on the basis of key works. <

  • The content of the lectures: 1. Periodisation of the history of the Czech literature, the main literature of the subject; Middle age literary works: Alexandreida, Chronicles, Legend... (M. Horáková-Hashemi)
  • 2. Hussite literary works: J. Hus etc. (H. Bočková)
  • 3. Reneissance literary works: J. Blahoslav, J. A. Komenský (H. Bočková)
  • 4. Baroque literature: J. A. Komenský, B. Bridel, A. Michna, B. Balbín...(M. Hashemi)
