Cíle předmětu
The course is based on a UNIFEM project in rural Shandong Province, Linqu County, 2001 – 2002 to enhance the leadership capacities of village women. The Chinese project partner has been the Women's Federation of Linqu County. The project is used as a background to analyze the role/position/influences of the mass organizations (MO) of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Chinese civil society. Contents focus on the three main MO that are even part of the CCP statute and related laws, namely the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), the All-China Workers' Federation and the Communist Youth League. The Women's Federation is highlighted as the project partner, but also because its specific role in rural China.
