Course objectives
The aim of the course is to study audio-video materials of the trial of Milada Horáková and inquire into the theatrical and sociological principles that govern the court proceedings.
Learning outcomes
Students will understand the structure, meaning and function of court proceedings as an important social and cultural phenomenon. They will also be able to analyse its role in the process of constituting, legitimising, and demonstration of political power.
