Course objectives
In the autumn of 2018, the lab will be dedicated to the topic of digital information curatorship. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the theoretical background of such activities, acquire the competencies necessary for efficient curatorial activities, creation of own collection and realization of short research.
The lab will combine the combination of theoretical knowledge and information with practical activities (application of different models to different situations) and the research and analytical component.
The student who passes the course will be ready to work the curriculum of digital information content, especially with regard to the educational possibilities of curatorial use.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- theoretically grasp and critically reflect the concept of curatorial content;
- use the available collector-creation tools;
- use curriculum for educational activities;
- create digital content collections;
- analyze, evaluate and examine such collections.

Teaching methods
The course has a practical character, it is organized in the form of workshops that combine lectures or inputs of the teacher with the activity of the students.
Assessment methods
At the end of the semester the student presents his / her digital collection. Students create a short research article from the data they collect about their collection.
