Good general knowledge of organic chemistry (Organic Chemistry I and II) and organic synthesis (C4450 Organic Chemistry III - synthesis) is necessary.

Course objectives: Lectures will explore retrosynthetic strategies and modern synthetic methods employed in construction of complex organic molecules. This course is designed primarily for first-year graduate and senior undegraduate students interested in advancing their skills of synthetic planning.
