Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide the students with basic theoretical as well as practical knowledge necessary to effectively utilize computers for chemical experiments and to analyze the acquired data from these experiments. The student will be oriented in the problematics of computer use for instrument control and data acquisition, will gain basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics, will know basic programming in LabView.
Learning outcomes
-The ability to describe the computerized measurement and control chain and its variants;

-basic overview of electronics (digital, analog, use of operational amplifiers);

- knowledge of the sensors and their output variables;

- knowledge of AD and DA converters, multifunction cards and their input and ouptput channels;

- basic knowledge of computer interfaces that can be used to connect measuring electronics;

- basic overview of LabView programming
