Course objectives
The course will provide a comprehensive overview on the geology of Carboniferous and Permian molasse basins in the Czech Republic.
Learning outcomes
Student will be acquainted with the development, structure and composition of Permo-Carbonifferous basins in the Czech Republic.

  • Tectonics, stratigraphy, sedimentology, paleontology and palaeogeography of Carbonifferous and Permian sequences in the Czech Republic.
