Course objectives
Evolution of cartography in space and time is presented. All important parts of cartographic heritage are mentioned. Special part is focused on map archiving and old map information usage.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- describe the evolution of cartography in space and time;
- understand all important parts of cartographic heritage;
- use the methods of map archiving.
