Course objectives
Mycological laboratory. Structures of fungal cell. Metabolic activity. Measurement of activity of some enzymes. Cultivation of mushrooms.
Syllabus
  • Microscopy of mushrooms. Hisological preparates- localisation o f cell structures. Determinationof oxygen consumption and production of CO2. Respiratory quotient. Determination of oxidase and dehydrogenase activity. Static cultivation - growth constants.
