Course objectives
Participants of the three-day seminar will be acquainted with modern methods of mining at important localities. Participants will be familiar with current trends in the protection of the environment during mining activities.

    14:00 Most safari Coal: coal mining

    18:00 Decin, Czech Koruna hotel: accommodation, dinner

    19:00 lecture - Sandrock company

    8:00 Departure from Decin

    8:30 Sotěsky Quarry: basalt mining

    11:30 Dobříň sandpit: gravel mining and reclamation

    15:00 Smiřice sandpit: sand mining from the water

  • • Wednesday, 24.10

    7:30 Departure from Brno

    8:30 Luleč: greaywacke and conglometare mining

    10:00 Tovačov: Extraction of sand from the water

    12:00 lunch

    14:00 return to Brno
