Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain basic notions and results of differential calculus a and apply them to concrete function analysis.

Syllabus
  • Real numbers. Sequences and elementary functions. Differential calculus of one variable (limit and continuity, derivative, investigation of the graphs of functions, differential of a functions, Taylor polynomial a and derivative formula for remainder).

Teaching methods
Standard lecture complemented with an excercise to teach students needed computionals skills.
Assessment methods
Completion is firstly based on two tests written during the semester. It is required to obtain at least 50% of points in each test. Exam: written and oral. It is necessary to obtain at least 50% of points from the total amount of the written exam.
