Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: - define terms related to education - describe the theory of goals - define and describe the teaching methods, means and forms - clarify the didactic principles - define the active work of pupils in the classroom.
Syllabus
  • 1st Introduction to the course General Methodology, following the field. 2st Methodological issues prominent in the didactics. 3rd Overview of educational theories and concepts. 4th The basic pedagogical documents and legal aspects of teaching. 5th Learning Objectives. 6th The content of teaching, tacit knowledge. 7th Teaching Methods. 8th Forms of teaching. 9th Principles of education. 10th The moral aspects of education. 11th Teacher preparation and management education. 12th Evaluation in the education. 13th Teacher and his self-reflection. 14th Additional topics.

Teaching methods
Lecture, discussion, individual work of students.
Assessment methods
Subject to completion of the test, which will take place through a written test. The successful completion of the test is to be achieved it more than 40% of the total marks for correct answers. It requires the active participation of both the lecture, it means carefully listen to a lecture, give correct answers to questions asked by the teacher orientation, etc., think of a topic that is explained and do not disturb the course of teaching other matters that are not related to the study topic). They must also follow the active work after the lecture (borrowing and intensive study of Czech and other language and literature journals, studies of electronic texts, consulting confusion with the teacher, little research in education field, participation in conferences and professional seminars, organized by the Department, Faculty apod . etc..), which are more or less related to the studied subject, active participation in the presentations at these events. Desirable students are also stays abroad for the purpose of obtaining interesting and relevant experience in the field and for this subject.
