Course objectives
Individual blocks of teaching will be a combination of theory, discussion and independent work. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to understand the area of financial mechanisms of the European Union, understand their role and know the history of its creation. We will learn to find suitable European resources for various project tips and we will learn the basic minimum for writing a quality project application. We will discuss the problems of using European funds in the 2007-2014 budget period, the current situation in the Czech Republic and the outlook for the current budget period 2014+.
Learning outcomes
The course will provide following abilities to the students: - the orientation in a history, goals and reasons of a formation of European funding mechanisms - the orientation in current subsidy funds of the European Union - ability to create a good grant application
