Course objectives
Basic course of limnoecology - practise.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to use fundamental sampling methods, to measure physico-chemical parameters and elementary data processing. Also will be familiarised with field protocols and acquire basic data from available sources.
Syllabus
  • 1. Information sources: maps for water authorities, annual reports, reference manuals, GIS. 2. Methods for measurement of aquatic environment parameters. 3. Sampling methods. 4. Analysis of fytoplankton samples. 5. Analysis of perifyton samples. 6. Field excursion: measurement of parameters of aquatic environment in the field, sampling - running water. 7. Field excursion: measurement of parameters of aquatic environment in the field, sampling - standing water. 8. Analysis of aquatic macroinvertebrate samples I. 9. Analysis of aquatic macroinvertebrate samples II. 10. Analysis of samples from hyporeal. 11. Analysis of zooplankton samples I. 12. Analysis of zooplankton samples II. 13.
