Course objectives
Workshop for students of Film Science and Journalism, where they become familiar with different genres in the print media and their possibilities as well as potential limits of the understanding of documentary film. Lecturers at the workshop (who are the prominent Czech film journalists) will firstly have a theoretical class about their genre, which will be followed by the students’ writing and a practical critical seminar, where the students’ texts are to be analyzed.
