Course objectives
The aim of the subject is the theory of corpus linguistics, methodology of corpus-based and corpus-driven language research, knowledge of criteria for the selection of the corpus instrument with regard to the character of the research question and the mastery of corpus researches.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should get insight into the theory of corpus linguistics, they should gain the basic knowledge of corpus based language research and apply the acquired knowledge in finding their own corpuslinguistic questions and tasks and they should be able to find the way how to find the possible answer.
