Course objectives
Cultural Studies is presented as a general theory of culture. There is applied axiological approach akin to human ecology. Critique of mass culture and consumerism. Finding the essence and fundamentals of culture. Examination of cultural phenomena and classification of knowledge about the culture. At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the general theory of culture and classify basic knowledge about the culture.
