Required courses are divided into five modules:
MODULE 01 Dissertation
The student completes all courses listed in this module in the recommended order. Total credits for this module: 120

MODULE 02 Internationalization
The student completes all courses listed in this module.
The total number of credits for this module is 30-55 (depending on the student's ambition)

MODULE 03 Competences
This includes courses that develop the competencies needed for academic work.
The student is obliged to complete all courses listed in this module.

MODULE 04 Skills
These are methodological courses. The student selects one of three courses according to the specialization of their dissertation.

These are theoretical courses. The student selects one of three courses according to the specialization of their dissertation.

In addition to required courses, the curriculum also includes selective courses. These are courses that enable students to develop and increase their qualifications in areas of their professional interests. The students choose courses from the list that add up to a minimum value of 15 credits (taking into account the number of credits earned for required courses in MODULE 02 INTERNATIONALIZATION) so that they achieve the required overall number of credits during their studies.

The curriculum gives space for the student to complete elective courses up to a value of 5 credits.
Students have the opportunity to choose subjects that are taught at other MU departments with regard to the focus of their dissertation. The choice of optional subjects will be agreed with the supervisor and the selected subject will be included in the individual study plan of the doctoral student.
