An important part of the concept is also the promotion of inclusion, which is perceived as a cross-cutting theme (supported by a separate subject).
The branch component includes knowledge and skills in the field to be mediated in the course. The Galery Pedagogy and Art Mediation program is an exceptional and perspective pedagogical focus that focuses on educational work in the art museum or gallery and the mediation of fine arts. Learning outcomes of the course unit The course is based on solid and well-structured knowledge and skills in the history of art, art theory and methodical skills, which significantly exceed the course curriculum and are relevant for the design, planning, realization and evaluation of specialized gallery training in the relevant field of education . The undergraduate study of the program of art education and art mediation extends the current artistic pedagogical work in the field of practical artistic activities on the interpretation and reflection of the visual arts and basic knowledge of the history of art and artistic currents of the present and more strongly than artistic education or visual art focuses on interpretative work with artistic work. The basis is the ability to interpret and activate creative thinking, which is conditioned by artistic, pedagogical and theoretical competences. The artistic activities themselves provide the basis for the ability to create in the gallery such practical art etudes that correspond to the character of the art presented as well as to the age and professional dispositions of pupils or students or adults.

- Practical Training
Practices are conceived as a coherent and graduating system with an emphasis on interconnection with theory and reflection and self-reflection of the student as a cultural educator.
The aim of the practice is to acquire the professional competencies necessary in the daily culturaly work, to get acquainted with the roles in which the educator enters his / her work, to become aware of his or her own professional needs and gradually to take responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the gallery programms. Throughout the course, students get a real idea of what the educator's everyday work involves.
Practice forms a coherent system of successive subjects. In the follow-up master's programs, these are subjects of professional practice 1 (1st semester), gallery practice 1 (2nd semester) of gallery practice 2 (3rd semester). In total, these practices are in the range of 280 hours (two-level study), followed by a seminar on professional practice. Seminar on professional practice students enroll during the study twice (in the first and second semesters). The aim of the reflection is to provide students with a space for sharing and reflecting experiences from their own professional practice and helping them to deepen reflective and self-reflective skills.
The system of practice is regularly evaluated both through closed and open questions, both by students and accompanying teachers. Reflective seminars are also evaluated.
The Galery Pedagogy Program is an open system that allows students to get acquainted with the activities of art galleries and museums, in general with other types of museums, but also with the activities of cultural institutions, agencies and trade unions in public administration, as well as with pedagogical gallery work at different types of secondary schools. The practice is completed within the courses Mediation of architecture, gallery practice, gallery art gallery, excursion gallery or author's lecture project.
- Goals of Theses
Master's diploma thesis can be considered in two ways:
1. as a theoretical work (65 standard pages, i.e. 117,000 characters including spaces)
2. as an artistic or artistic-pedagogical realization (at least 43 standard pages, i.e. 77,400 characters.
In both cases, it is necessary to focus on the theory of the subject, especially the theory of gallery pedagogy with the reflection of theory and art history, with emphasis on the theory and practice of the interpretation of the artwork. Consequently, the master's thesis, which is based on practical artistic performance or a creative set of animation galleries, must be accompanied by a text in which the theoretical contexts adequately related to the presented artwork are adequately investigated. We expect original authoring solutions in the art and text parts. In the case of practical exercises, the author's presentation is also suitable in the form of a separate gallery program, interactive exhibition material or a program for the public.
The guidelines for the master's thesis have been modified since January 2016 by the Standards of the Department of Fine Arts for the finalization of the thesis, following the Dean's Instruction No. 1/2015. To implement the final papers (Bachelor's, Diploma, Rigous and Final Works).
