Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a description of ways in which Czech adults seek jobs. Job-seeking is viewed as one partial skill from the group of career management skills and the attention is concentrated on level of job-seeking in this paper, for low level of these skills (career management skills) can contribute to the deepening of social inequality. The attributes of the skill of job-seeking in different groups of adults aged between 18 and 60, are given by data collected in a questionnaire survey conducted in November 2011 on a representative sample of adult population in the Czech Republic.

Abstract (in Czech)

Cílem příspěvku je popsat způsoby, které čeští dospělí využívají při hledání práce. Na hledání práce je nahlíženo jako na na dílčí dovednost ze souboru dovedností řízení profesní a vzdělávací dráhy a v příspěvku je zaměřena pozornost na úroveň rozvoje této dovednosti, neboť nízká úroveň rozvoje dovedností řízení profesní a vzdělávací dráhy může přispívat k sociální nerovnosti. Charakteristika dovednosti hledání práce u jednotlivých skupin dospělých ve věku 18-60let vychází z dat sebraných prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření v průběhu listopadu 2011 na reprezentativním vzorku dospělé populace v ČR.
