N2 - Colonization by marine organisms during transgression of Middle Miocene sea near Přemyslovice was effected in the beginning by the cool water current. Shortly afterwards, fallout of volcanic material caused a total termination of biota. After this catastrophe, the biota started again colonize the area. The terminal association is than comparable with that referred for other sections in Carpathian Foredeep.
