Anotace

Das Buch rekonstruiert und dokumentiert die Vereinsgeschichte des Internationalen Deutschlehrerverbandes (IDV), um die Bedeutung des Verbandes für die Entwicklung des Faches Deutsch als Fremdsprache und seine Rolle für die Sprachverbreitungspolitik der deutschsprachigen Länder zu unterstreichen. Der IDV stand in den ersten 20 Jahren seiner Geschichte im Spannungsfeld der unterschiedlichen Interessen der Sprachverbreitungspolitik der BRD und der DDR, gab aber auch entscheidende Impulse für die Fachentwicklung in Österreich sowie der Schweiz. Außerdem beeinflusste er inhaltliche Konzepte des Faches durch seine Tagungen und internationalen Fortbildungsveranstaltungen. Mit den Themen Völkerverständigung, Landeskundevermittlung und einem ausgewogenen Verhältnis von Theorie und Praxis prägte der IDV die Ausrichtung des Faches Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Seit 1989 sind Fragen der internationalen Kooperation, der Regionalisierung und der Einbeziehung der außereuropäischen Länder sowie das DACH-Prinzip und die Plurizentrik prägende Anliegen, die der Verband aktiv zu verbreiten versucht. Die Untersuchung versteht sich als eine fachhistorische und zugleich sprachenpolitische Arbeit. Die Analyse der politischen Interessen und des Aktionsrahmens, in dem der IDV agierte, unterstreicht die sprachenpolitische Dimension von Deutsch als Fremdsprache.

Kniha rekonstruuje a dokumentuje dějiny Mezinárodního svazu učitelů němčiny (IDV). Podtrhuje význam svazu v etablování a rozvoji oboru "němčina jako cizí jazyk" a zdůrazňuje jeho roli ve vnitřní a vnější jazykové politice německy mluvících zemí. Prvních dvacet letech existence Svazu bylo poznamenáno především faktem, že IDV stál v centru rozporných zájmů jazykových politik obou německých států. I přesto však dokázal poskytnout první impulsy k rozvoji oboru v Rakousku a Švýcarsku. Dále přispíval k rozvoji koncepce oboru pořádáním mezinárodních konferencí, sympózií a kurzů dalšího vzdělávání. IDV ovlivnil němčinu jako cizí jazyk především v oblastech porozumění mezi národy, výuky reálií a v propojení teorie s praxí. Od roku 1989 se Svaz zaměřuje na rozvoj a šíření otázek mezinárodní spolupráce, regionalizace, zapojení mimoevropských zemí, ale i podpory konceptu D-A-Ch a pluricentrického přístupu. Monografie je prací historickou (popisuje dějiny oboru) a zároveň jazykově politickou. Analýza politických zájmů a prostoru, v němž IDV působil, vyzdvihuje jazykově-politický rozměr němčiny jako cizího jazyka.

The book reconstructs and documents the history of the International Association of Teachers of German (IDV), in order to underline the importance of the Association for the development of German as a foreign language and the role of the Association in spreading the language policy of the German-speaking countries. In the first 20 years the IDV had to find his position between the conflicting interests of the different language policy of the two german countrie. At the same time the IDV also gave a decisive impulse for the professional development of the discipline in Austria and Switzerland. The Association also influenced substantive concepts of the discipline through its international conferences and training events. With the topics of international understanding, cultural studies the IDV influenced the orientation of German as a foreign language. Since 1989, issues of international cooperation, regionalization and integration of non-European countries as well as the principle of „DACH“ and German as a plurizentric language are the defining concerns that the association is trying to disseminate actively. The analysis of political interests and the framework for action in which the IDV acted underscores the political dimension of speaking German as a foreign language.
