Abstract

Computer literacy is one of the basic requirements on education for modern generation. Due to the existence of diverse groups of ICT users, we can expect conflicts and misunderstanding between the so-called digital immigrants and digital natives. It appears the Internet search engines can serve as the tools unifying both groups. The paper presents conclusions of the research focused on ways how to change the traditional approach when ICT supported teaching is applied. As a common platform we used Google.com in our university course preparing the teachers of Vocational training.

Počítačová gramotnost je jedním ze základních požadavků na vzdělání pro moderní generaci. Vzhledem k existenci různých skupin uživatelů ICT, můžeme očekávat konflikty a nedorozumění mezi tzv. digitální imigranty a digitálních nativci. Zdá se, že internetové vyhledávače mohou sloužit jako nástroje sjednocení obou skupin.Příspěvek prezentuje výsledky výzkumu zaměřeného na způsoby, jak změnit tradiční přístup, kdy se použije ICT podporovaná výuka. Jako společné platformy jsme použili Google.com v našem univerzitním kurzu k přípravě učitelů odborného výcviku.
