Abstract

Publikace „Energetická bezpečnost asijských zemí a Ruské federace“ je rozdělena do dvou částí. První z nich komplexně hodnotí nástup nových spotřebitelů (Číny a Indie) na světové trhy se zdroji energie, aktéry a charakteristické rysy jejich energetických politik a reakci Japonska, tradičního asijského spotřebitele, na růst nových konzumentů. Druhá část poskytuje ucelený rozbor ruského sektoru energetiky, představuje klíčové aktéry a konečně analyzuje význam sektoru energetiky v Rusku jak z ekonomického, tak politického hlediska. Mimořádný důraz je kladen na evropskou dimenzi ruské energetiky. V neposlední řadě je prostor věnován energetické politice Číny a Ruska vůči dalším aktérům, kaspickými producenty počínaje a Ukrajinou a Běloruskem konče.

Abstract (in English)

„Energy Security of Asian Countries and the Russian Federation“ is divided into two main parts. The first one evaluates actors, policies and market positions of the emerging consumers of China and India as well as Japanese response to the growth of the new consumers. The second one introduces key actors of Russia’s energy sector and analyzes its importance from both political and economic point of view. Special emphasis is given to the European dimension of Russian energy policy. The book also deals with the Russian and Chinese policies towards other countries, such as Belarus, Ukraine or the producers of the Caspian region.
