Abstract
In this work we have developed working implementation of a plan-based scheduling system within a real production open source TORQUE Resource Manager system. Our solution is a major extension which replaces the naive queue-based scheduler provided in the TORQUE distribution with a new complex job scheduling system. It allows to plan job execution ahead and to predict the behavior of the system. The solution is based on the application of job schedule, which represents jobs' execution plan.
