Abstract

Tato studie, jež je založena na postupech mediání etnografie, se zabývá způsoby konzumace nelegálních audiovizuálních obsahů. Mediální etnografie se zaměřuje na užití médií v rámci domácnosti a na kontext konzumace mediálních obsahů. Tento výzkum - vycházející z konceptů každodennosti a domestikace - se zabývá tím, jak respondenti včleňují nelegální obsahy do struktury své každodennosti, zda tímto vytvářejí nové vzorce sledování a obecně na to, jak je tento typ obsahů konzumován. Výzkum se rovněž soustředí na sociální kuraci jako na způsob, jímž si respondenti získávají nové obsahy.

Abstract (in English)

The paper deals with consumption patterns of infringing content, using the framework of media ethnography. This kind of ethnography is focused on media use in households, emphasising actual context of consumption. Using conceptual notions of the everyday and domestication, the research seeks to find out how participants incorporate infringing content into the structure of their everyday life, whether this means forming new watching patters, and how is this content consumed in general. It also investigates social curation as means of discovering new content.
