Abstract
Conference paper examines Czech (socialist) advertising film as "border-genre" in which ideological as well as economical interests of state intersect, highlighting an example of promotion of domestic personal transportation vehicles, which were considered both as products of favoured engineering industry, and as symbols of modern consumer life-style.
