Abstract

Monografie představuje vývoj základních druhů antroponym (křestních jmen, příjmí, příjmení, hypokoristik a přezdívek) v českých zemích, a to v časovém rozmezí 1000–2010. Přednostně se zabývá osobními jmény českých obyvatel a sleduje jejich vývoj na území obývaném českou majoritou, přitom však respektuje skutečnost, že mezi obyvateli českých zemí zaujímaly významné místo německy mluvící menšina a poměrně početná židovská komunita.

Abstract (in English)

The monograph deals with the development of basic groups of anthroponyms (Christian names, complementary anthroponyms, surnames, hypocoristic forms of names and nicknames) in the Czech lands during the years 1000 – 2010. Attention is paid mainly to anthroponyms of the Czech inhabitants; the monograph follows the development of these anthroponyms on the territory settled by the Czech majority, taking into consideration and respecting also the fact that the German-speaking minority as well as the relatively large Jewish community were a significant part of the inhabitants of the Czech lands.
