Abstract
This chapter deals with the definition of the basic terms modernism and postmodernism in art from an interdisciplinary perspective. Our research deals with changes in the paradigms of special education in relation to the phenomenon of human originality, creativity and authenticity of the artistic expression of authors with disabilities.
