Abstract

Dieser Artikel befasst sich mit der Adaption eines der meist wichtigen Werke der deutschen Literatur. Ich beobachtete zuerst die schulische Tradition der Adaptionen der so genannten klassischen Werke an den Schulen in Deutschland. Es gibt zwei sehr wichtige Fragen, die diesen Prozess angehen: Die Beachtung der Qualitätssicherung der Adaption für Kinder und ihre Übereinstimmung mit dem Originalwerk. Das nächste Kapitel befasst sich mit dem Inhalt der Werkes „Nathan der Weise“ von G. E. Lessing. Ich erwähnte vor allem den Juden Melchisedech, dessen Geschichte die Parabel von den drei Ringen beinhaltet. Im Kapitel „Nathan und seine Kinder” von Mirjam Pressler analysierte ich kritisch dieses Buch und ich verglich es mit dem Originalwerk. Ein sehr wichtiger Unterschied bei Mirjam Pressler betrifft die Umwandlung des Genres Drama in den Roman. Es gibt einige Differenzen bezüglich der handelnden Personen gegenüber der literarischen Quelle. Unterschiedlich ist auch die Anzahl ihrer Auftritte in den einzelnen Kapiteln, als auch ihr soziales Milieu.

Abstract (in English)

This article deals with the adaptation of one of the most important works of the German literature. At first is mentioned the school tradition of the adaptations of the so called classical literary works at schools in Germany. There are two very significant questions concerning this proceeding: the quality of the adaptation for children and its compliance with the original work. The next chapter deals with the content of the work Nathan der Weise by G.E. Lessing. I mentioned especially the Jewish Melchisedech whose story contains the parable of the three rings. In the chapter Nathan und seine Kinder by Mirjam Pressler I analyzed this book and compared it with the original work. The very important difference by Mirjam Pressler is the change of the genre drama to a novel. There are several differences in the acting persons against the original work. The number of their performances in the individual chapters differs too and different is also their social milieu.
