Abstract
Party system stability is considered of conditions of proper functioning of democracies, especially in the context of newly born democracies. The paper examines the stability of the party system in the Czech Republic in the context of stabilization of democracy.

Stabilita stranického systému bývá považována za jednu z podmínek řádně fungující demokracie, zejména v prostředí mladých demokracií. Příspěvek se zabývá stabilitou stranického systému v České republice v kontextu stability democracie.
