Abstract
Planktothrix is one of the most commonly known toxin producing cyanobacterium world-wide. We have cultured Planktothrix sp. strain CCAP 1460/13 and after extraction microcystins concentration was measured by HPLC-DAD. We identified two dominant toxins - demethylated MC-RR and demethylated MC-RR.
