Zprvu v neděli nejbližší původnímu datu svátku 9. března, tedy vždy v postní době. Počínaje rokem 1750 oslavy nabyly ještě většího lesku, neboť se posunuly až do doby velikonoční. Tuto tradici ukončily až josefínské reformy, v jejichž rámci byly tyto národní svátky (Nationsfeste) zrušeny spolu s náboženskými bratrstvy, výraznou restrikcí poutí a celkovou regulací bohoslužeb.
