Abstract

Veřejný prostor je plný uměle vytvořených bariér, které ovlivňují kvalitu života osob se zakovým postižením. Jedná se jak o bariéry fyzické, tak bariéry v postojích, které nalezneme v procesu vzdělávání, uplatnení na trhu práce či kontaktu s úřady atd. Důležité je uvědomění, že tyto bariéry jsou uměle vytvořeny většinovou intaktní společností. Příspěvek seznámí posluchače s nejčastějšími bariérami, s procesem jejich odstraňování a komparací současné situace v ČR s dalšími státy EU.

Abstract (in English)

Public space is full of artificial barriers that affect the quality of life of people with visual impairment. There are both - physical barriers and barriers in attitudes, which can be found in education, in the labor market or in contact with authorities, etc. It is important to realize that these barriers are artificially created by the intact majority. This post acquaint students with the most common barriers to the process of elimination and comparison of the current situation in the Czech Republic and other EU countries.
