Abstract

V originále

In the article a new solution of the old etymological puzzle is offered: to explain the relation between Latin hircus "stag" and Sabellian hirpus "wolf". A new etymology is based on assumtion of relation between "prey" and "predator", i.e. "wolf" = "that who hunts stags".
