Abstract
Geny tvoří jen malou část naší genetické informace (genomu). Naopak transposony - úseky DNA přemisťující se po genomu z místa na místo, populárně označované jako "skákající geny" - přestavují více než polovinu genomu člověka.
Abstract (in English)
Genes account for only a small part of our genetic information (genome). On the contrary transposons - DNA segments transferring along the genome from place to place, popularly known as "jumping genes" - represent more than half of the human genome.
