Abstract (in English)
Ghana is one of the most developed and democratic states in Africa. Ghana is a presidential republic, where the president is both head of state and head of the Cabinet. The Constitution establishes the system of so-called checks and balances which means that the state power is shared between a President, a unicameral Parliament and an independent judiciary. The paper deals with the legal framework of the executive-legislation relationship in Ghana.
