Abstract
Our contribution has focused on the issue of the potential role overload among Czech older people with using SHARE data. We have concentrated on the intensity of care which grandparents provide to their grandchildren. We have analysed frequency of the mutual contacts and sort of providing help. These informations are perceived in the connection with the grandparents’ economic activity, residential distance and feeling of being fully occupied.
