Abstract

Článek interpretuje konjekturální paradigma Carla Ginzburga z pozice hermeneutiky. Rozšiřuje východiska teorie s pozorností k fenomenologické kritice moderní vědy na základě prohloubení distinkce mezi galileovskou vědou a konjekturální metodou. Studie obhajuje vědeckost historie na základě širší diskuse o východiscích teorie, v konfrontaci s Popperovou kritikou její prediktivní hodnoty. Článek argumentuje, že historie jako věda je možná pouze tehdy, je-li opuštěn teoretický univerzalismus.

Abstract (in English)

The article interprets Carlo Ginzburgs conjectural paradigm from a hermeneutical point of view. The crucial distinction between Galilean science and conjectural method is explained with a focus on its hermeneutical aspects. The study tries to understand historiography as a science, critically discussing Poppers discourse. The main question of this interpretation is a predictive value of theory and also its universal demand. The article argues, that the history as science is possible only if theoretical universalism is abandoned.
