The present paper deals with possible positive and negative experiences of using online technologies in teaching and learning of adult people. The aim of the paper is to highlight such advantages and disadvantages of online learning that tend to recur rather frequently in a number of pedagogical situations and contexts.

Příspěvek pojednává o možných pozitivech i negativech používání online technologií ve výuce a učení dospělých. Autoři příspěvku vycházejí z rozsáhlého a důkladného studia českých a zejména zahraničních odborných zdrojů, ale také z vlastních empirických výzkumů, které realizovali v posledních letech. V příspěvku se budou zabývat výhodami a možnými nevýhodami využití online technologií z pohledu studenta, vyučujícího (lektora či autora online kurzu) i z pohledu institucionálního.
