Abstract

The present paper deals with possible positive and negative experiences of using online technologies in teaching and learning. Here, the word possible is central as completely generally applicable issues may hardly be traced. The aim of the paper is to highlight such advantages and disadvantages of online learning that tend to recur rather frequently in a number of pedagogical situations and contexts.

Příspěvek pojednává o možných pozitivech i negativech používání online technologií ve výuce a učení. Záměrně je použito slovo "možných", protože jen stěží lze totiž vymezit ty obecně platné. Obsahem příspěvku je proto výběr často uváděných výhod a nevýhod. Autoři příspěvku vycházejí z rozsáhlého a důkladného studia českých a zejména zahraničních odborných zdrojů, ale také z vlastních empirických výzkumů v oblasti vysokoškolského vzdělávání, které realizovali v posledních letech. Jednalo se o výzkumy využívající kvalitativní i kvantitativní výzkumné postupy.
