Abstract

The aim of this workshop and student workgroup has been to deal with the legal regulation of the payment cards, with the legal responsibility connected with payment cards usage and especially with contemporary questions on their usage on the internet and other similar technologies, according to the regulation in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. Workshop been created in order to include the EU regulation along with international court cases. Workshop has been the part of the Summer School of IP and ICT Law 2013 in Austria, Reichenau an der Rax. Participants from european and non-european states visited the workshop. It has been organized as a part of the European Union Regulation of Financial Services online project (175798-LLP-1-2010-1-CZ-AJM-MO).

Abstract (in Czech)

Cílem tohoto workshopu a studentské pracovní skupiny bylo zabývat se právní úpravou platebních karet, o právní odpovědnosti spojené s jejich zneužíváním a zejména o aktuálních otázkách týkajících se jejich zneužívání na internetu a pomocí jiných technologií, dle úpravy v České republice i obecně v Evropské unii. Workshop byl koncipován obecně tak, aby zohlednil unijní právní úpravu a mezinárodní judikaturu. Workshopu, který byl pořádán jako součást Summer School of IP and ICT Law 2013 v rakouském Reichenau an der Rax, se zúčastnili účastníci z evropských i mimoevropských států. Byl uskutečněn v rámci projektu European Union Regulation of Financial Services online (175798-LLP-1-2010-1-CZ-AJM-MO).
