Abstract

V originále

The spinal stability is necesary for optimal athletic performance. The Acral Coactivation Therapy offers the muscle activation in the closed and open kinematic chains and the muscle coactivation causing the straightening of the spine. The aim of this research is to evaluate the influence of Acral Coactivation Therapy on the values of a plantar and palmar pressure. Emed platform was used for measurements. The measurement was performed befor and after Acral Coactivation Therapy. With the analysis of mean pressure there were found increasing in rearfoot and root of palm. That may be the verification of one of the key principles of Acral Coactivation Therapy.
