Abstract
V originále
The aim of the contribution was to determine the acute effect of CAF ingestion on endurance performance via the rate of perceived exertion (RPE) and using the Borg scale. The results of comparison of the experimental situations using the Borg scale are not persuasive. It is therefore not possible to determine whether using the Borg scale might be used to define the effects of caffeine ingestion on endurance performance, due to the multifactorial effects of caffeine. We recommend using the Borg scale only as an additional indicator of exercise intensity in exercise training.
