Abstract

Příspěvek se věnuje vlivu převažující struktury rodiny v dětství na vstup do prvního koresidenčního svazku, tedy vstupu do nesezdaného soužití nebo do manželství. Charakter nesezdaného soužití se mění. Autoři na základě Heuvelineovy a Timberlakeovy typologie nesezdaného soužití tvrdí, že kohabitace se v České republice od devadesátých let dvacátého století posunula od předstupně manželství směrem k fázi v manželském procesu. Kohabitace se stává stále častější součástí partnerské a rodinné dráhy a prodlužuje se i doba, kterou partneři v kohabitaci stráví. Nadto se projevuje klesající stratifikace v selektivitě do kohabitace a mění se i efekt struktury rodiny původu na vstup do prvního koresidenčního svazku. Analýza dat z první vlny Generation and Gender Survey z roku 2005 ukazuje, jakým způsobem se vliv struktury rodiny původu proměňoval v českém kontextu od 60. let 20. století.

Abstract (in English)

The paper concerns about the effect of predominant family structure in childhood on entry into the first coresidential union (cohabitation or marriage). The nature of cohabitation is changing. Authors employ the typology of unmarried cohabitation by Heuveline and Timberlake, and argue that cohabitation in the Czech Republic has changed from precursor to marriage towards stage in the marriage process. Cohabitation is becoming increasingly common part of the partnership and family paths, and the time span spend in cohabitation is increasing. Moreover, the selection into cohabitation lowers and the effect of childhood family structure on the first union entry is changing. Analysis of the data from the first wave of Generation and Gender Survey 2005 shows how the effect of the structure of family of origin changed since the 1960s in the Czech Republic.
