Tato kapitola představuje metodu zakotvené teorie jako jeden z přístupů v kvalitativním výzkumu. Zaměřuje se především na samotný proces analýzy a nabízí čtenářům možnost sledovat krok za krokem aplikaci tohoto přístupu na konkrétních datech. Datový soubor je tvořen rozhovory se ženami, které podstoupily léčbu rakoviny prsu. Důrazem na konkrétní aplikaci analytických postupů se tento text stává užitečným doplňkem obecnějších metodologických učebnic.

This chapter presents the grounded theory method as one of the main approaches in qualitative research. It is primarily focused on the process of analysis and it offers the readers an opportunity to follow step-by-step the application of this approach to particular data. The data set is composed of interviews with women who had undergone treatment for breast cancer. With an emphasis on the application of analytical procedures, the text becomes a useful complement to more general methodological textbooks.
