Abstract

In der Studie wird auf die Motivation zum Lernen des Deutschen als zweite Fremdsprache der tschechischen Schüler/-innen eingegangen. In zwei einleitenden Kapiteln werden die Motivation im Bereich des Fremdsprachenlernens und -lehrens sowie die aktuelle Situation des Fremdsprachenunterrichts in der Tschechischen Republik kurz thematisert. Danach wird eine Pilotstudie zur Untersuchung der Motive von tschechischen Schüler/-innen zum Lernen des Deutschen als zweite Fremdsprache vorgestellt. Diese Pilotuntersuchung wurde im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts (GAP407/11/0321) durchgeführt, in dem die Mehrsprachigkeit in der Tschechischen Republik mit besonderem Fokus auf das Lernen des Deutschen als zweite Fremdsprache zum Forschungsthema wurde.

Ve studii se zabýváme zkoumáním motivace k učení se němčině jako druhému cizímu jazyků u žáků na českých školách. V úvodní části jsou představena vybraná teoretická východiska konstruktu motivace a motivování v oblasti výuky cizích jazyků a nastíněna současná situace jazykového vzdělávání v České republice. Poté jsou představeny výsledky výzkumného šetření, které bylo provedeno v rámci řešení grantového projektu Mnohojazyčnost v české škole: učení a vyučování němčiny po angličtině GAP407/11/0321.

Abstract (in English)

The study discusses the motivation of Czech learners to learn German as a second foreign language. In two introductory chapters, the motivation in the field of foreign language learning and teaching, as well as the current situation of foreign language teaching in the Czech Republic is discussed shortly. Thereafter, a pilot study examining the motives of Czech learners for learning German as a second foreign language is presented. This pilot study was part of a research project (GAP407/11/0321) in which multilingualism in the Czech Republic was examined with a special focus on learning German as a second foreign language.
